Sushi Genki Owner/Chef : Profile
He was born in Kumamoto city, JAPAN.
After he graduated Housei University in Tokyo, he started working
at Japanese Kaiseki fine dining "Genkai" and Sushi restaurant in Tokyo, JAPAN.
He moved to Canada in 2001 and started working at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel as a Demi Chef De Partie Sushi.
Then he’s been working as a Sushi chef in CANADA and also he’s been working as a Canadian food cook at Qails’ Gate estate Winery.
He moved to Penticton on May, 2012 and opened Sushi Genki on June, 2012.
